DeathDoor 3000 was made for the 2013 Golden Doorknob Awards at Ithaca College. Held every year, the awards screen films made by Ithaca College Park School of Communications students that all have one thing in common: Death by doorknob. DeathDoor 3000 plays with the idea of a golden doorknob film, featuring a character that somehow realizes that he's living within one. Without credits, the film totals two minutes, which made it eligible for the Mini-Knob Award for submissions under two minutes.
